You’ve told us how important it is to have visible, local support in your community - familiar faces, trusted relationships and people nearby when you need help.
That’s why we’re investing in more Neighbourhood Officers, so our teams can spend even more time where it matters most - in your community.
These new roles will help us strengthen the support available where you live, increase our local presence and make it easier for you to access help and advice when you need it. They’ll also give our current Neighbourhood Officers more time to be out and about in communities, building relationships and supporting you face-to-face.
As part of this investment, we’re introducing new specialist roles in Income and anti-social behaviour, alongside new Extra Care Sheltered Housing Officers based within Bradeley, Rowan and West End Village.
These Extra Care Sheltered Housing Officers will work closely with those of you living in our villages, providing support, advice and a familiar face. They’ll also help create opportunities for you to connect through activities and community sessions.
For us, this is about more than recruiting for new roles. It’s about making sure you feel heard, supported and connected, while continuing to shape services around what matters most to you.
