Help shape the future of Meir North

Meir North Have Your Say About Your Community

At Staffs Housing, we believe creating quality affordable homes people can be proud to live in doesn’t stop at the front door. It’s about the neighbourhoods around us, the connections we build, and the shared pride we feel in where we live.

That’s why we’re proud to support Stoke-on-Trent City Council’s Pride in Place programme, including welcoming the team to Rowan Village, one of our over 55s independent living villages in Meir, to meet with you, and other local residents to hear your ideas for the future of the area.

Event details
Location: Rowan Village, Meir
Led by: Stoke-on-Trent City Council Pride in Place team

What is Pride in Place?
Pride in Place is a Stoke-on-Trent City Council-led programme designed to give local communities more influence over how investment is used in their area. Backed by government funding, the programme focuses on long-term improvements that matter most to local people, from safer neighbourhoods and better green spaces to stronger community facilities and connections.

Meir North is one of the areas that could benefit from up to £20 million of investment over the next 10 years, with local residents helping to shape priorities and future plans.

While Staffs Housing and Honeycomb Group are not running the programme, we’re proud to support the work taking place in our communities and to welcome the Pride in Place team to Rowan Village to meet with residents and hear their ideas for the future of the area.

Have your say
The Pride in Place team wants to hear directly from local residents about what matters most in Meir North and what changes could make the biggest difference to the community.

This community session at Rowan Village is an opportunity to learn more about the programme, share your ideas, meet others from the area, and help shape future investment in Meir North.
