older people's villages

We have two older people's villages: Bradeley Village and Rowan Village.

Bradeley Village

Bradeley Village, Bradeley, Stoke on Trent, is a large complex of 238 self-contained, mostly one bedroom, apartments.  It has a range of communal facilities including a resident-run shop, coffee shop and bar.  The village offers residents lots of opportunities to get involved as volunteers.

On-site staff provide housing support and advice from an office in the village centre, and there is a 24 hour alarm system for emergencies.

Rowan Village

Rowan Village, Meir, Stoke on Trent, is an ‘extra care’ scheme for people over 55. There are 75 apartments, most of which are two bedroomed. The village has a range of facilities for residents and the local community to use, including a restaurant, gym, therapy room, hairdressing salon and shop.

Residents at Rowan Village have a mixture of support needs. Some residents are fully independent, and others have assessed care needs. All support services at the village are provided by Accord Care and Support, our managing agents.

Apartments are available for rent and sale, and there are also six homes specifically for older carers of a learning disabled adult.
