Staffordshire Housing Association has introduced a new outreach support service for people aged over 65 who live within 1.5 km of Bradeley Village.
Schoolchildren joined Staffordshire Housing Association (SHA) and contractors Frank Haslam Milan to mark the completion of a purpose-built older person’s housing scheme at the centre of a diverse Stoke-on-Trent community.
An MP3 player, a recipe for oatcakes and a newspaper cutting showing results from the 2010 World Cup have been chosen by schoolchildren for a time capsule to be buried at a state-of-the-art older person’s village. Pupils from Stoke Minster Primary School buried the time capsule in the grounds of the new £16 million West End Village, Stoke, in an event organised by the Staffordshire Housing Association.
