Getting involved can be a rewarding experience. It gives you the opportunity to influence the way we work, and the satisfaction of knowing that your opinion has made a genuine difference to the services you and other residents receive.
We are always looking to improve the services we provide, and many of the improvements we make are because customers have asked for them.
For instance:
- new residents receive better decorated and more well appointed homes to move into because existing customers took part in a review and set our empty homes standards
- all the key documents customers receive have been assessed by our reading panel as clear and easy to understand
- more customers than ever get their query solved by the first person they speak to on the phone when they call us, because customers told us that was most important to them
- a ‘scrutiny’ review of the planned maintenance service by SHARP (SHA Residents’ Panel) led to a number of changes in the way we do things, including communicating more regularly and returning to inspect work more often
